Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) have committed over 12,000 hours to the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) since the height of the pandemic, to support emergency service colleagues and ultimately, save lives.<
Avon Fire and Rescue Service’s (AF&RS) mission is to provide the highest standard and best value service to the community.
If you score sufficiently at shortlisting then you will be invited to complete the fitness and strength tests and speed interviews.
For those of you who will be successful in the eligibility stage, there are several more stages to the application process, including online assessments, interviews, practical and physical tests.
This year, the application form and what we are looking for from applicants has slightly changed.
One of the key parts of the application form is your personal statement, which at just 1,500 must clearly show exactly why you would fit well with Avon Fire & Rescue Service, and what experience you would bring to the role.
If you are working your way through the application process, there will be a short delay where you will not hear from us.
