My story: Liam Bamford
Liam previously worked as a team leader for G4S Cash Solutions and became a first-time dad in the New Year.
He had applied twice before, both of which were unsuccessful, but his sheer deamination and drive meant he eventually did pass the application process.
Liam said: “Joining Avon Fire & Rescue Service has fulfilled one of my lifelong ambitions and I can’t wait to get on to station and begin progressing my career.”
Since passing his training, Liam has joined White Watch at Temple fire station.
