Freelance opportunity for local artist or designer

graphic of a fire engine

In the lead up to Black History month in October we would like a designer or artist from any creative medium to work with our Fire Station at Bedminster on a piece of artwork celebrating key figures in our black community. Resulting in their artwork/design being displayed on our fire engine(s) and across our social media channels.

The artist would need close links to the black community, with a clear understanding of the audience and insight as to the people and culture our communities would like to see celebrated.

We would encourage applications from designers/artists from the Black community.

This artwork is about celebrating achievements and contributions Black and other people of colour have made to this our Service area, we would also like to be considered as an employer of choice for anybody from the community who are considering their options.  To find out more information download the creative brief and supporting information.
